Download this video and learn these incredible Matrix effects today! My Take: I think the majority of us have a good knowledge of how a matrix is accomplished even if we don't perform one ourselves. Clipping and sliding are all a part of what we know. Then I saw the trailer for this download. Patricio does a matrix with full sized Rubik's Cubes. He also does a matrix using items of vastly different thicknesses. A coin, a key, a die. This is one I had to see. Instruction is via a 41 minute video that teaches his five favorite matrix effects. There is no speaking on the video but the video makes what needs to be done crystal clear. It also has a nice musical soundtrack. This is a high grade professional video. Matrix Rubik is the first routine taught. Watch the trailer and it will fool you. He goes into great detail in how to perform this and if you do, this is definitely a reputation maker. And, get this, the handling is a piece of cake accessible to just about every one of you. How is this possible? Every thing about this effect is gaffed to the hilt, from the cubes to the cards. You are shown each step of the way how to gaff the props yourself. This is where the real work happens. If you want to do this, it will take you several hours to make all of the gaffs. But once you do, you will have a killer routine. After that, memorize the moves and become a legend. He also goes through the teaching a second time using see through cards so you don't miss a step. This is just about the best matrix that I have seen and the instruction on this trick alone takes up almost half of the entire video. The second routine is the same effect with no gimmicks. Obviously, this version requires more handling and it not quite as clean as the gaffed version but it is not a knuckle buster and you don't have to spend hours making your props. Once again, he uses the see through cards so you can follow the action. Matrix Explosion utilizes four unlike items to accomplish the matrix. A key, an American coin, a Chinese coin and a die and four cards. This is one for the coin guys. It uses some of the standard moves and is an eye catching routine. Matrix Reset. A beautiful reset routine once again for the coin guys. Really looks impossible and utilizes a couple things you most likely already own. This one will require some work but the final effect is well worth the effort. Matrix Elements. The three coins and the key are once again used. Each is shown to clearly be under each card yet they still all gather under one card at the end. This is an exquisite and beautiful matrix routine. And , like all the others, it is taught using transparent cards, AT $20.00, this video is a real bargain. It is loaded with killer routines that will get you jobs. The beginning Rubik routine will take quite a while to build but if he put this out complete, I could see the asking price easily be $75.00 to $100.00. This is one video that I would give four stars. A lovely piece of work.
