The Hype:

A BBM EXCLUSIVE VIDEO DOWNLOAD - Biz's 'MELT Coin Thru Cellophane' is an absolutely STUNNING piece of organic magic. You take a genuinely empty card case and slide the cellophane off. You then spin the case and slip the cellophane back on. Now the only opening to that case is totally sealed off.

Next you borrow a coin (have it signed if you like). You rest the coin on top of the case and then, with the smallest wave of one hand the coin penetrates the box.

You slip off the cellophane, open the case and, oh-so cleanly, remove their signed coin!

Works with any coin

Works with any deck

No duplicate coin - coin can be signed

Easier to do than you think!!!

This is a simply stunning piece of magic and one of our favourite releases of this decade. Grab MELT and start melting minds!

My Take:

From the comments by others, this has apparently fooled some great minds in card magic (including one of my heroes, who shall remained nameless except Big Blind Media does release his stuff on a regular basis.)

If you are one of the few who love to spend hours making up a complex gimmick only to have it not work properly so you have to have to remake it another time or two, this is not the trick for you. In fact, it is so simple that the Youtube magic kiddies will be posted performing it (poorly) in no time at all. This is one gimmick you will toss in your pocket for a night out with friends or a party. Become a legend in your own time. You might need to make a tun to the store. The trick can be done without it but the trip makes the execution so much easier.

The instruction comes in a set of seven files, none of which is really long so you can watch the entire production in just a few minutes. One thing you will notice is his sense of humor. His words will fool you. He is great at "yanking your chain". And he is also great at fooling the pants off you. This is one great trick. (Overlook the over use of "great" but they all fit)

I had my ideas on the method after watching the performance video but, like a lot of others, I was dead wrong. I have seen a number of coin routines where the coin is covered by the hand which moves in a circular motion moving the coin to the edge of the tape where it is lapped. However, watching the video showed me that the required motion just was not there. One part of the gimmick I guessed correctly as I am sure many of you will. However, I had no idea as to the load method.

The good things about this are that it looks great, a real fooler, it fits easily into a shirt pocket, you can use your volunteer's coin (signed even), and it's really easy to do. (A little practice never hurt anyone though.) I plan on just shaking the box to show the coin is in it and then handing my volunteer the box so he can remove the coin himself. You end clean. No gimmicks and it can be completely examined.

This is highly recommended. Biz really out did himself on this one. Nicely done.
