My Take:

I am sure that , like me, you have a number of gaffed decks in your drawer that have not seen daylight since Robert-Houdin was a star. Well, Liam Montier has added Memo to the vast repertoire that he has released.  With as much material as he is releasing, it makes you wonder if the man actually sleeps at night or just stays up creating another great trick to foist upon us.

When going over new material for review, I always try to figure out the method before I watch it. This one had me fooled completely. In the first section only one card is named and then revealed by the magician. My first thought was clocking the deck but you would really have to be super fast to accomplish that. Then he has three cards picked and totally baffled me.

In the promo writeup, it is revealed that a gaffed deck accomplishes these miracles. Since the deck is not tipped in the ad, you won't get it here either. Just be aware that there is a good chance you already have one in your drawer. And there is an equally good chance that you have not used it in recent memory. I got mine several years ago after being totally fooled at a lecture. And yes, it has been living in my "magic drawer" ever since. Well, it is time to pull it out, dust it off and learn some new magic.

This is self working and easy as pie to do but it remains a real fooler. Liam has done his usual fine work in routining and teaching the method. This is definitely one that I will be playing with.

And here is the best part. It's only ten bucks. Instant downloads have really made some great routines available for next to nothing. It used to be that you had to purchase a whole dvd to learn that one routine you really wanted to learn. Not only did you end up with routines you will never do, you had to pay a good price for them. I remember having to buy a whole cd of songs that I didn't want to get the one hit that I did. Downloads solve both the content and the cost problem. Just pick the routine you want, order it online and you will probably have it in your In Box before you know it. And this new routine from Liam is definitely one you should consider. For almost no work, you will have a miracle that done properly should fill up five minutes of performance time.

Would I recommend this? Sure, as I do with almost all of the Big Blind Media releases. Liam and Owen have done a great job again. Buy it. You will use it.
