The Hype:

Cody has taken a great fooling magic trick and transformed it into a source of "motivated referrals" for you!

This fantastic routine leaves the spectator with your business card AND a REAL reason to hang on to it.  They will not throw it away – it’s worth too much money to them! 

 It’s ideal for Wedding Fairs and is Cody’s favorite routine when working them.  But he also gives you ideas to use it at any booking.

 With the kind permission of Cody Fisher, I am pleased to release this as a package for the first time.

Comes complete with a beautiful tan PU leather wallet with a laser engraved brass/gold coloured or stainless-steel money clip along with sample business cards and a link to a 16-minute instructional video.

My Take:

Members of S.AM. will most likely be familiar with the name Cody Fisher. He has written a column called "The Intimate Magic of Cody Fisher" for MUM Magazine. He has also written on techniques for both increasing business and getting bigger tips.

Martin Duffy has taken an effect from him and made it into a lovely prop. I have found that anything I get from Martin is of superb manufacturing quality. You receive a lovely little P U leather case for your business card that has a money clip attached.

The magician pulls out 3 business cards of different colors and lays them down into a row.He then takes a bill and has his volunteer move the bill back and forth along the row until she feels she should stop. When she does, the magician shows that was the exact color that he predicted.

You will notice right away that this is a variation on the standard three outs principle (You might remember Mind Control), but with this presentation, you have a beautiful prop and it gets your business card into the spectator's hand. Cody also offers the spectator a $100 Visa Gift card if she takes the card back to work or gives it to a friend who books a show. Nice way of getting the card shown around and, depending on what you charge for a show, $100.00 well spent.

You are given a link to Cody's newsletter along with a password. You receive a 16 minute video showing you how to both do the effect plus get your business going. Cody also offers his newsletter which offers a free video each month.

It is suggested that you have business cards made up in all three colors. He says that you can buy 1000 cards for a reasonable price but I know that majority of you will never need 1000 so there are places online where a lesser amount can be purchased. Or, you can just use your business card with a sticker. The benefit of having the cards specially printed is that it not only looks very professional but it gives your spectator a card to take home. How many times have you given a business card and had it just left on the table. With Cody's technique, that should never be the case again.

This is a great product. I consider it more of a promotional tool instead of magic. It will fool the laymen but not magicians and if you get a gig because of it, it is money well spent. This is something you should not leave home without.
