The Hype;

Visualise by Liam Montier - A totally self-working Triumph routine. Their THOUGHT OF card is the only face up card in the pack. No sleight of hand, no mis-indexed cards, no forces!

Comes with special deck on Bicycle Stock.

Liam Montier has taken a classic principle and mashed it up with some killer handling to create a monster of a routine. It's so hands off and clean that it really does look like real magic.

Visualise is the classic ‘Triumph’ - but turbocharged to the nines.  A deck is genuinely shuffled face-up into face-down, and a spectator THINKS of a card in the deck.  You reveal their selection with NO questions… and then the deck straightens itself out, apart from the freely named card!  No forces, no sleight of hand, no kidding - this is the cleanest triumph you’ve ever seen!

How easy is it to do?

Completely self-working.  There are no secret moves at all, and the handling loos perfect.  If you can shuffle a deck, you can do this!

Is It The Same Card Each Time?

No, absolutely not.  The spectator has a totally free choice when she decides on her card, she can change her mind, and THEN you reveal it, and the deck is all sorted too.  Anyone sneaking a peek at a second performance will see the same trick, with a totally different card.

What comes in the package?

You receive the deck and full streaming instructions teaching you the full routine, and an INCREDIBLE bonus routine based on a hidden Roy Walton gem! (WHAT’S THE BONUS? - Rules of the Game - Liam is also going to teach you a vintage Roy Walton gem, but updated to use the Visualize Deck. This new handling simplifies the handling, streamlines the effect AND makes it super easy! This faux gambling game will play beautifully one-on-one, but also work as a party piece with lots of people crowding round and joining in. It's a real doozy for performing in almost any environment.)

My Take:

You might have already heard that Visualise uses a gaffed deck that you might already have. No, I am not going to tip the deck. You will have to buy this routine for that information. I used to own one (as you might have also) but over the years it has gone AWOL. The great thing about it is that the deck is now (and has always been) a real fooler. Easy to do and it is an eye popper.

Visualise has you shuffle a deck face up and face down, the deck is spread showing that the cards are actually face up and face down, and has your volunteer memorize a card, The whole deck instantly turns all face down except for the chosen card. You are given the technique to actually name the card before the deck is spread.

In a 41 minute video (not downloadable), the always lovely Liam Montier shows you his handling and variation on a a classic. So easy to do and you can let your volunteer do the lion’s share of the work.

Liam starts by teaching you the classic handling which is powerful enough but then he adds his magic touch. In Liam’s first routine, you are able to name the selected card from a face down deck. Then when the deck is spread, only the selected card is face up.

Next up is Visualise. Handling similar but you have your volunteer visualize one card face up and all the rest face down. The big difference here is that you name their card before the deck is spread. Killer addition.

Last up is Rules of the Game where Liam plays a game similar to Connect Four with the cards. The deck is shuffled and your volunteer takes four cards at a time. If all four match, she wins. (Little reminiscent of Miraskill here but entirely different method.) A perfect faro is required to have the most effective presentation but Liam offers some easier procedures that work quite well.

Liam has had several releases where he rehabs an old trick, always improving on the original  That is what you have here. Easy to do and powerful. And can be learned very rapidly. Plus, it’s fun to play with.

Recommended.
