The Hype:

Stephen Tucker’s brilliant BLIND FAITH is truly the workers monte routine - in-the-hands, visual, easy to do and ends with a KICKER!

Like all Monte’s your spectators (try as they might)  just CAN'T find the odd card out. However Stephen’s brilliantly constructed routine ends with a shocking kicker AND leaves you 100% squeaky clean.

BLIND FAITH uses just the four provided cards, so it slips into a pocket or your wallet and is always ready to go. It’s super easy to do (only basic moves) and builds to a shocking climax.

* Easy Handling, Ends Clean, Visual, Practical

* Uses just four cards - a pocket sized miracle

* Comes with the special cards in Bicycle stock in a protective carrying wallet

My Take:

In the beginning I always loved packet tricks (as I am sure most of you did, too). They always seemed to come in a little cheap plastic wallet that not only gave you something to carry the cards in but protected those precious specially printed cards. I see the wallets less and less these days  but fortunately Big Blind decided to delve back into the past and resurrected the wallet. Love it!

This is a monte routine with an added kick at the end that your audience will never see coming. Although it is routined to allow platform performance with the cards held vertical, I have always preferred to perform at table level so had to change the handling just a bit. It was not difficult and  you can do whichever version you might like.

The cards are nicely printed on Bicycle Rider back stock. Liam Montier does his usual superb job of teaching the routine. There are zero moves in it. Not self working but very, very easy. At one point Liam uses the Olram Subtlety to prove that all the cards are legit (even though we know they are not.). It looks great in his hands and is nicely taught. I actually use Boris Wild's Kiss Count as it is a move that I have always loved and I am more comfortable with it than the Olram. Of course it is your choice which way to go and Liam also points out that the proving here can be left out. It is just a nice added touch.

Instruction is a 14 minute video via download. They have done something here which I have not seen before. You can just watch the complete 14 minutes and see the whole performance and explanation but Big Blind has also added files referencing each part, Introduction, Performance, Explanation and Olram Subtlety. When you get your instruction via DVD, it is easy to jump right to what you want to view but it is much more difficult with a video file. I personally think this is a nice touch that I would like to see more often.

As with most BBM releases, this is a visually appealing routine. Nice paced and should hold your audience's interest. This is one you will have fun with either in performance or at a party or bar. Nice surprise ended and easy to do.

I love it and you will, too. Recommended
