From shuffled to stacked in seconds - this deck-switching device is so simple in concept and execution that you can tell your audience in advance you're going to switch the deck and they WILL NOT SEE IT.

Best of all, we arm you with a precision crafted gimmick and full streaming instructions that explains TEN original routines, handlings and applications by Gregory Wilson, David Gripenwaldt, Michael Weber, John Kennedy, Justin Miller and Raj Madhok.

Plus, it makes the classics instantly accessible: perfect poker deals, color-changing decks, story packs, new deck order finale and mental miracles.

TEN original routines, handlings & applications, taught in over 3 hours of detailed instructions by Gregory Wilson. Instant reset. Easy to perform. Mostly angle-proof. Great for close-up or stand-up. No moving parts to wear out or break down. Pre-constructed in red Bicycle, but can be easily altered for any brand

There has been a buzz at our ring meetings for quite a while about Gregory Wilson’s latest effect so I was very excited to have it magically appear in my mailbox. Like his Revolution, the packaging is both sturdy and superbly designed. When I opened the box, the first thought that occurred to me was Chuck Leach’s Deck Shell. (And Greg mentions this numerous times in his postings to forums so I don’t think I am talking out of class here)  One of the first things Gregory mentions in the video is that he was inspired by Chuck’s Deck Shell.   The second thing that gladdened my heart was that the gimmick was complete. You can use it right out of the box with no arts and crafts. A few years ago a friend told me I had to get Christian Engblom’s Cooler so I made the purchase. I was never able to get the box to stay on so to this day it has found a home in my Magic Purgatory drawer.

The gimmick itself is constructed from steel and should last you a lifetime. Greg is developing a reputation for constructing very sturdy gimmicks that last. Probably like the rest of us, he got tired of buying an expensive trick only to have it fall apart with no easy method for repair. Whatever his motive, it is a very welcome trend.

No DVD is provided which makes the packaging much more compact. There is a link and password to download a three hour and forty minute instructional video. After over an hour of demonstrating different switches that are possible, he goes into great detail teaching ten tricks. It is amazing how much more impressive an old trick like the 10 Card Poker Deal becomes when your spectator can shuffle the deck himself before the routine begins. And this is perfect for story routines such as Sam the Bellhop. If you can’t do the fake shuffles and cuts that Bill Malone excels at, just have the spectator shuffle the deck, do the switch and go into the routine. You have a miracle with almost no work.

Almost as an afterthought, he includes the Fractured switch from Daniel Madison. This seems to be a big fan favorite on the forums and I must agree. Gregory floored me all through the video with his flawless switches but when I saw Fractured, my mouth dropped open. This one switch makes the whole purchase worthwhile.

If you buy magic DVD’s, you know you get a dvd that runs for two hours tops for a price of from $30.00 to $40.00. This package is the same price but you get a video twice as long so you are getting your buck’s worth just in the video alone. It is almost like he throws the gimmick in for free! And this video is fabulous. Not a detail is missed. He wants to make sure you will have no questions once you watch it., Plus, all influences are painstakingly credited.

Positives: A superbly crafted gimmick that will last close to forever and a wonderful training video.

Negatives: Absolutely none. This is a five star purchase. But it will require (like any other really good magic effect) a lot of practice to get it to work smoothly. Plan on spending a few days playing with it.

Conclusions: If you are a card guy and would like to do some switches, you need this on your shelf. This is wonderful.
