Spinning a small item on the tip of your finger is a visceral display of skill, control and years of masterful discipline. But, who has time for all that?

Revolution shortcuts the years of practice and allows you to look like a Shaolin Spin-Fu Master in just minutes. Spin any standard deck or standard playing card on the tip of your finger in a mesmerizing display of playing card dexterity.

Part sportsmanlike skill and part unsportsmanlike gimmick, you'll have everything you need to get instant attention, including trick playing cards for tons of routines, expertly taught by Gregory Wilson. Greg will teach you how to spin like a Globetrotter in no time.

What you get in the box: One extremely well made gimmick and 3 gaff cards

There are a few magic creators from whom I know I will get a great product just by seeing their name. Gregory Wilson is one of them. If you have ever been lucky enough to see him im=n person, you know just how strong his magic is. I have seen him reduce a man almost into tears with his pickpocket routine. So I was excited when I read about Revolution. I am not really one to do a whole bunch of flourishes  but the vide of this made me a believer.

The trick comes in one of the more impressive packaging that I have seen in a while. Since the video is online (and can be downloaded), no bulky DVD is necessary. The video download is around 90 minutes long so Greg has plenty of time not only to give you the hints needed to do this successfully but throws in a few routines (along with the special cards) to use with your gimmick. The gimmick itself is very well made and should last a lifetime if you take care of it.

This is not a trick you will do right out of the box. Greg is up front in letting you know that practice is involved and that it might take a week or so before you get to where you want to be with it. Prepare to drop the deck numerous times. I play with it while watching TV in the evening. The first time you get a decent spin will really give you a rush and make you want to keep practicing. Once you get it down well, it is a great opener or even conversation starter in a bar.

Positives: Well made, durable gimmick. Lots of instruction and tips. I have seen tons of effects for the same price that don’t measure up in value to Revolution

Negatives: I read a recent review of the new Star Wars movie and the only negative comment the reviewer could come up with was that the next film is a year and a half away. I feel kind of the same way about this. What will Greg invent next?

Conclusion: Revolution is a way cool toy and I love it. If you have just a little patience, you will be adding this spin to your repertoire.
