The Hype:

From the creative mind of Menny Lindenfeld comes the most POWERFUL & VISUALLY STUNNING rubber band penetration effect you'll ever perform!

A rubber band is wrapped around your forefinger. And while it's being stretched out, the rubber band literally PASSES THROUGH the center of your forefinger and LINKS ITSELF onto your middle finger. The effect is so visually stunning, IT LOOKS LIKE A CAMERA TRICK!

Your fingers are open and fully exposed throughout the entire performance. The rubber band continues its magical journey, VISIBLY PENETRATING from one finger to the next. Making each phase gradually look more VISUALLY AMAZING than the previous.

Finish this incredible effect with a BIG ending. Imagine the spectator's reaction, when you cause the rubber band on your finger, to VISIBLY PASS THROUGH and PENETRATE HIS OWN FINGER.

Perform TRU in any impromptu situation. With your fingers fully exposed throughout the entire routine. It's 360° angle-proof and can be watched from any angle. Each phase of TRU can be performed as a stand-alone effect. Or combined into a multi-phase routine.

Powerful & visually stunning! No covers - fingers are open and fully exposed. Rubber band visibly penetrates fingers, jumping from one finger to the next. Perform with hand palm up or palm down. RB penetrates SPECTATOR'S finger - while spectator holds end of rubber band. 360° angle-proof - perform fully surrounded. No gimmicks/100% impromptu. Five (x5) original methods, choreographed into a visually stunning routine.PLUS variations on the routine with borrowed earphones & hair-bands. HIGH QUALITY & LONG LASTING RUBBER BANDS INCLUDED! (Bands produced by Joe Rindfleisch.). Video tutorial (Download/Full HD 1080p/72 minutes).

In the tutorial, Menny Lindenfeld will teach you:

My Take:

Many years ago, I was watching a magic special on television. After his stage act, the performer came down and sat with the host on the edge of the stage. He linked two rubber bands, one on each hand and they simply melted apart. I was stunned and the next weekend went to my local magic shop (at the time  Hank Lee’s. That’s not going to happen again!) and after describing what I had seen, I was told that it was called Crazy Man’s Handcuffs by Michael Ammar. Of course I made the purchase and still have the manuscript today.

What is so great about rubber band magic is that is so portable. A lot of performers simply carry some bands on their wrists so they are always ready if someone asks to see some magic. They are also a very common item that everyone is familiar with. They can be examined and found to not be gimmicked. It is very visual and you will almost always be asked to do it again. This is usually one you can actually perform a second time.

Since Ammar, there have been numerous rubber band tricks and videos released. Jay Sankey and Joe Rindfleish are two of the best known performers. Now we have Menny Lindenfeld. Menny’s is a five phase routine although each phase stands alone. Bands jump form one finger to the next and then back again. But the real gem here is Phase 5. You actually make the band jump from your finger to a spectator’s. She can immediately pull her hand away with the rubber band hanging from her finger. Looks absolutely impossible and she walks away with a cheap souvenir that she will never get rid of.

Two nice variations are taught as a bonus at the end of the video. In the first, you can borrow someone’s earbuds. There will almost always be someone with a set on them. Wrapping the cord around one of your fingers, you cause it to jump from one finger to another. The move is like Phase 1 but the fact you are doing it with earbuds that belongs to the spectator is devastating.. I have to admit that my favorite is the second variation. This uses the stretchy head bands. You might have one in your pocket (examinable, of course) in the event that one of your spectators does not have one in her hair. They are much thicker than a rubber band making them look less likely tp be faked or manipulated. A perfect illusion that can be performed surrounded anywhere.

This is not a routine you will perform quickly. Directions are very detailed and the instruction video is very well shot with the camera focused only on the hands. There is a lot to learn and remember here but once you get it flowing, this is one you will do again and again. You will need a friend to help you practice Phase 5 but all others can be learned on your own.

Take the time to learn and practice this and you will have a miracle with you  any time. This perfect for close up, street magic and a killer for a party or small group. Like I said, this is not easy but a bargain at $24.95
